Assistant Professor of Professional Writing at the University of Memphis.

I enjoy pursuing research interests that range from feminist rhetorical histories, new media, gender and technology, and technical communication. My dissertation research focuses on women’s rhetorical histories, silencing and erasure, as well as archiving and visualizing the data generated by networked activism. Specifically, I analyze networked hashtag movements as rhetorical events that assert women’s voices in the public sphere.
