Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Professional Writing at the University of Memphis. I teach in the Composition Studies and Professional Writing concentration. Currently, I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in document design, online writing, professional editing, and technical writing.

My research interests range from feminist rhetorical histories, new media, gender and technology, and technical communication. My dissertation research focuses on women’s rhetorical histories, silencing and erasure, as well as archiving the data generated by networked activism. Specifically, I analyze networked hashtag movements as kairotic moments that assert women’s voices in the public sphere.
